German Easter Bread / Challah Bread Recipe

I am assuming that this Easter Bread has its origin in the Jewish Challah. We bake it for Easter and its scent in the house is so wonderful that we almost don’t want to go outside for the egg hunt!
I either braid it in a long bread (as shown in this video) or into a wreath as shown on the picture.
