Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 5.5 cups of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 2 glasses of water
  • Salt

For internal mortar:

  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 700 grams of leek
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Red powdered pepper

To drive between them:

  • 100 grams of butter
  • Half a glass of oil

How to make Albanian pastry recipe?

Finely chop the leeks and fry them in olive oil.

Add salt, pepper and red pepper and cook until the water evaporates.

Set aside to cool.

Mix the ingredients for the dough in the kneading bowl and knead until you get a smooth dough.

Melt the butter to be spread in between and add the liquid oil.

Divide the dough into two equal meringues and spread it as wide as you can on the floured counter.

Place a dessert plate in the center of the dough and cut around the plate.

Apply the oil mixture on the round dough

Cut the outer part of the dough into slices and cover it by greasing it on the round piece in the middle.

Roll out the dough slightly larger than the tray.

Spread the dough you opened by greasing your tray.

Spread the roasted leeks on the dough.

Do the same with the other dough meringue and place the second dough on the leek.

Fold the edges of the dough with your hands and slice your pastry.

Apply the remaining oil to the top.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and put the tray in the oven.

Serve the pastry you cooked for 45-50 minutes hot. Enjoy your meal…
