Ingredients

  • 300 grams of lean ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 3 branches of fresh garlic
  • 3 fresh green onions
  • 1 cup of coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of pomegranate syrup
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mixed tomato pepper paste
  • Red pepper
  • 2 bunches of parsley

How to make olive pastry recipe?

For the dough, dissolve the yeast together with salt and sugar in a glass of water.

Take the leavened water into the kneading bowl and add the flour.

Add the water little by little to get a soft dough.

Flour your dough and cover it with a damp cloth and wait until the dough rises well.

For the filling, take out the seeds of the olives and chop them small.

Roast the minced meat.

Add the onions that you chopped for food and continue frying.

When the color of the onions turns, add the tomato paste, chili peppers and black pepper.

After adding olives, pomegranate syrup and walnuts, mix for a long time to get a homogeneous mixture.

Take it off the stove and wait for it to warm up a bit.

Finely chop the onion, garlic and parsley and add to the other ingredients. You are ready.

Cut large tangerine meringues from the dough.

Open the meringues in an elongated oval shape.

Spread the minced meat all over the dough and fold it in half and fold the edges inward.

Flour the base of the baking tray. Place the pastries on the tray.

Preheat the oven at 240-250 degrees. Then put the tray in the oven.

Bake the pastries until golden brown.
